Music is just great. I love it. I tried to play flute in middle school, and organ in high school but it never worked. I want to learn to play guitar also. I know I shall not expect too much if we think that I don't even have my own guitar (and talent for it, J)
But no problem. There is no reason for not listening to it. And I do. When I came here I was a biiiiig fan of Turkish Music, and I still am. Good thing with here is that I got to see (and listen,J) the music here, so I got CD's.Now I listen to them, too. There is a big variety of music choice on me. My song list, for example, goes from Marilyn Manson, to Celine Dion. From Queen to Type O Negative. I don't like all songs these guys are doing, but they certainly have great songs. Maybe I should make a mix CD, but you know, CD recorders are expensive.
Well, I am a big Baris Manco fan, he passed away this year. We are all sorry for that. Tarkan, Sezen Aksu, Murat Gogebakan, Ibo (J), Haluk Levent, Fahir Atakoglu, 3 Hurel, Tuluyhan Ugurlu, Goksel, Sukriye Tutkun, Gulay are the first names that I can remember. I am hoping them to be more popular around the world, at least between Turk communities around the world if not Europe or US.
