At the age of fifteen, I was interested in writing. It was not for impressing a girl or being bored. It was a definition paper in which I was supposed to talk about love. "Love is the hunt in the eagle's mouth going to her baby." Within the time I grew up, I had good times, bad times. I loved many things, and didn’t like many others. But I always wrote. I was writing on '98's new year day, and on my birthday.

Rhetoric Essay====>Lost In US. (September '98) Oh God, it was just the first month and our teacher wanted us write a rhetoric essay. "In a topic you'll choose, write a 750 words essay which you can use the language and the rhetoric devices in." Worked hard, wrote this. It was just the first month...

Voice+Art Project====>Fear. (November '98) This was for a contest for the literary club in Pulaski Academy,but also an essay for grade. We had to pick someone whose voice we could speak in, and who we would be familiar with. I decided to be a soldier at a battlefield. It describes me the best for the time i wrote it. It is a letter from a soldier to his mother, which is all about his fear. I also have a drawing of the soldier. It is drawn by David Lyon Hudson, an Advanced Placement Art student at my school. (based on the song of Yasar Kurt of Turkey)

College Essay====>Myself (December '98) Again, as an assignment we had to write a college essay that time. I chose my own question and wrote about it. "why should we let you in?" It is a little bit "political correct.", lol. Well, it is for the college. You have to introduce yourself in your best. I guess I did. It has an A-.

Research Paper====> Peace Essay (Since Ever) Alright, I love peace. Many people do. But this paper caused so many conflicts between our teacher and us. The United States Institute of Peace (USIP) asks students to write an essay on a specific question. This year it was "Describe that preventing a conflict before it turns into a hot war is more efficient than afterward actions." I chose two cases to work on. Middle East and Turkey-Cyprus-Greece triangle. It was a bit painful to do all that research, and read that many books. Outlining, noting... With 16 books of bibliography, 2 pages of outline and 9 pages of the body it is a big work. If you are interested in Middle East or TR-Cyp-GR problems, don't miss it. Otherwise, don't worry...

Short Story====>Cafe` Maruso (January '99) Mrs. Kidd was going crazy that week. She asked us to write a short story. We got the option to write a new story or jump into one and modify it. Well, I thought it would be harder to jump into one, so I began to write my own story. I enjoyed writing it, and still enjoy reading. It is a very nice story, and I wrote it :-).
